It was a weasel actually, and the ‘Hen House’ houses (housed) a rooster and a duck as well, but that’s not the point here. The point is, 1) if this morning was any indication as to the luck 2010 will bring in the poultry arena we’re going vegan and 2) I’m starting to think Rosalia, the hen pictured above, has inside connections with the local poultry predators mafia. She has been the sole survivor of two separate predator attacks on the chicken coop in less than a full year. Both times she has not just survived, she has been completely unharmed; not a feather out of place. She knows something; if only we could get her to spill.
